An Evening of Readings presented by the Playwrights’ Colony 2018

May 23, 2018

Come join PARC for a fantastic evening! Plays developed at PARC's Playwrights' Colony are diamonds in the rough - the next you hear those words they will be creating a buzz in a theatrical production on stage.

Hear excerpts from work-in-progress from fabulous writers at an Evening of Readings on Wednesday May 23 rd at 7 pm at the Motyer-Fancy Theatre in the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts on the Mount Allison University Campus in Sackville, N.B.

The readings will be excerpts from works-in-progress from participants in PARC Playwrights' Colony: Wanda Graham; Nancy Kenny; Rob MacLean; James McClure; Michael McPhee; Natalie Meisner; Melissa Mullen; Nadine Salami; Berni Stapleton and Sara Tilley.

Don Hannah, an award winning playwright and one of the dramaturgs working with the playwrights, will also be reading something from his work.  Hannah's pair of one person shows, The Cave Painter and The Woodcutter, were recently published by Playwrights Canada Press, and Cave Painter received the 2012 Carol Bolt Award.

Next season's award winning plays start here...  don't miss the buzz!
