Jean-Michel Cliche (he/him) is a theatre artist of Lebanese and French settler descent based out of Fredericton, NB. He is the Co-Artistic Director of Solo Chicken Production's the coop, a platform for contemporary artists to research, develop and perform original works of physical theatre. He is also the Artistic Director of Hyperloop Theatre, which explores the cross-roads of performance and technology. As a playwright, his plays have been performed and workshopped by Theatre New Brunswick, Lunchbox Theatre, Saint John Theatre Co. NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival, and more. Jean-Michel is a fight director and violence designer, and is a certified member of Fight Director’s Canada. He is also a theatre educator and currently teaches drama at the University of New Brunswick and improv through Solo Chicken Productions.
