Patrick McWade lives in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. He began writing scripts in high school for special-events assemblies. He went on to create short skits and sketches for an annual Spring comedy revue whilst living in Northwestern Ontario. He has written 3 plays that were produced and staged by Showcase Productions in Amherst, Nova Scotia. “Write, Dance, Laugh, Love” (2016), a comedy about creating a community theater organization. “aND tHAT’S tHE wAY iT’LL aLWAYS bE” (2018), a musical comedy set in a Maritime B&B. “Adam’s Bar” (2023), a musical comedy about possibly losing a small neighbourhood bar to a conman. Besides short bits, full-length plays, and radio sketches, Patrick also tells stories through cartoons that appear in Ovi magazine (Ovi Magazine : Finland's English Online Magazine), and Totally TaeKwon Do (Totally Tae Kwon Do Magazine (totallytkd.com)).
