DaPoPo Theatre

DaPoPo Theatre staged its inaugural production at the Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax/Kjipuktuk in 2004. Since then, we have pursued an ideal of radical inclusion and access, having worked with a rotating group of associated artists, emerging and established, amateur and professional. DaPoPo administers The Nest arts space and is known for its signature events Café DaPoPo, The Drinking Game, and the annual Live-In Festival. Past playwriting, producing, and devising credits include Four Actors in Search of a Nation, Apocalypse S006, 13 Ways of Looking at a Madman, So… What About Love?, Jesus Is A Faggot, The FEAR Project, and the Musial KAMP. Projects currently in the works: The Hal Project, Malleus Maleficarum, and So… What ELSE About Love?
