Victoria Urquhart is an award-winning AuDHD (Autistic+ADHD) actor, playwright, producer, and director.
She creates to build space for Invisibly Disabled stories and characters, with a love for memory, horror-comedy and what we have come to call "fluff". She writes to bridge gaps and build cognitive empathy. Her work can be found in multiple places, but the best place to start looking is on instagram: @G_nitenet.
Creative credits include: directing The Girl In The Photograph, which won Broadway World’s award for Best Production, alongside it being noted as Mooney On Theatre’s Hot Ticket. Victoria was also a finalist in the 2022 Cayle Chernin Awards for her upcoming written piece, Don’t Say His Name. She recently finished the first stage of development of her play, I, Can Fly through the support RealWheel’s Theatre’s Writer’s Circle in Vancouver, the mentorship of Natasha Nadir through the Playwright’s Guild of Canada, Nightwood Theatre’s Creator’s Reserve and the Canada Council for the Arts.
