John Spurway

John lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick. His first production, Between Friends, premiered at Lighthouse Festival Theatre in Port Dover, Ontario in 2008. LFT has since produced more of his work, including the world premiere of Jessie's Landing in the summer of 2011. His play The Numbers Game opened Theatre Orangeville's 20th season in October of 2013 and had successful runs in the summer of 2017 at Lighthouse Festival Theatre in Port Dover, ON and at the Showboat  Festival Theatre in Port Colborne. His most recent play, Off the Grid, was part of the highly successful 25th season at Theatre Orangeville and had a hugely successful run at the Victoria Playhouse in PEI in the summer of 2021.
