Alison Crosby

Alison Crosby (she/her) is a theatre artist originally from Unama’ki / Cape Breton and currently based in Kjipuktuk / Halifax. She was the inaugural participant in Neptune Theatre’s INKubator Program, through which she wrote In Lieu of Flowers. In Lieu was produced as part of Neptune Theatre’s 60th season in partnership with the Highland Arts Theatre and was nominated for a TNS Merritt Award for Outstanding New Nova Scotian Play. Alison has also been fortunate enough to participate in the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre’s Writing Retreats in 2016 (As If You Were Normal), 2020 (In Lieu of Flowers), and 2025 (Irrelevant).
