Synopsis

An unemployed Newfoundlander sits atop the Churchill Falls Hydro Dam in Labrador threatening to blow it up unless the contract between Newfoundland and Quebec over rights to the falls is re-negotiated. His wife sits at home trying to figure out what went wrong – “a very human drama.”

Production History

Originally a 1 act play. A winner of the 1992 Vancouver Theatre Centre’s Springrites Festival. Premiered at the Festival and subsequently produced by Western Canada Theatre in 1996 and Theatre Newfoundland Labrador in 2001. TNL’s production toured Newfoundland in 2002.
