Thanks to funding support from ArtsNL and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, PARC offered play development support to NL members Jude Benoit’s “Ne’multes”, Joseph Dennis’s “Caribou”, Jeremy Nolan’s “shit, piss and cystic fibrosis”, Sobia Shaheen Shaikh’s “Braiding Peonies”, and Kira Sheppard’s “Sweet Dreams” will be receiving workshops next week in St. John’s, NL. Each playwright receives personalized sessions with dramaturges and actors to further develop their scripts, culminating in a public reading of each work in progress.
