In partnership with the Louise Penny Foundation, PARC presented “Murder by the Book” by NS Member Laura Teasdale, an exciting library fundraising initiative. This comedy murder mystery script was released and is available to use by any library across Canada for fundraising purposes.
In “Murder by the Book”, a community theatre troupe tries to save the town of Two Spruce’s local library…with deadly (and hilarious) results. Clever “fill in the blank” jokes and adaptable casting make this script easy to produce in any community.
To celebrate this launch, PARC hosted a live reading with actors on
October 30, 2023 at Halifax Central Library.
