Thanks to funding support from ArtsNL and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, PARC is thrilled to offer play development support to NL members Jude Benoit’s Ne’multes, Joseph Dennis’s Caribou, Jeremy Nolan’s shit, piss and cystic fibrosis, Sobia Shaheen Shaikh’s Braiding Peonies, and Kira Sheppard’s Sweet Dreams will be receiving workshops next week in St. John’s, NL. Each playwright receives personalized sessions with dramaturges and actors to further develop their scripts, culminating in a public reading of each work in progress.
The public readings for Caribou by Joseph Dennis, shit, piss and cystic fibrosis by Jeremy Nolan and Sweet Dreams by Kira Sheppard will be happening at Cox and Palmer Second Space (LSPU Hall) on November 10, 2023 – 7 – 11 pm and for Ne’multes by Jude Benoit and Braiding Peonies by Sobia Shaheen Shaikh on November 16, 2023 – 7 – 10 pm.
