Synopsis
A vision of the "Donnellys" story. Years after the massacre of the Donnelly family at the hands of their community, Johnny O'Connor, the only witness, is still grappling with the reality of what he saw, and what it means to live in a world in which that could happen. A meditation on grief, community and national identity, this is a critical work of any state trying to wash their hands of the past without reconciling with the consequences of their actions.
