Kent Stetson, C.M.

Prince Edward Island, Canada, native Kent Stetson C.M. is a Governor General’s Literary Award Laureate, Member of the Order of Canada, and winner of the Canadian Authors Associations Distinguished Playwright Award. His work as a dramatist, multi-media artist and novelist has crossed cultural and language barriers at home and abroad. Kent served as Artist in Residence at McGill University, The Neptune Theatre in Halifax, Montreal’s Centaur Theatre and The National Theatre School of Canada. He is grateful to The Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta and Playwrights Workshop Montreal for years of careerbuilding challenge and support. Kent currently lives in Montreal, Quebec, where he continues to write, direct and offer dramaturgical services for thearte, film and television as well as co-creating expansive, internationally produced multi-media spectacles.
