Neomi Iudit

Neomi Iudit (b.1998) is an emerging artist based in Fredericton. Through theatre, poetry, and visual art, she looks to create pieces which feel intimate and unexpected while examining themes around belonging, survival, and solidarity. She has written for creative collaboration projects with Rebel Femme Productions and Next Folding Theatre Company, and had a site-specific play reflecting on the meaning of home through a Queer immigrant perspective performed as a staged reading at NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival in 2021. Driven by her experiences as a racialized immigrant and a Queer and disabled artist, Neomi is passionately working towards an artistic practice that prioritises the autonomy and perspectives of marginalised people in creative spaces.
