Jess Hannaford

Jess Hannaford is a queer, non-binary writer who has recently graduated from the University of King's College with a Combined Honours in Gender and Women's Studies and Creative Writing. Fusing these two disciplines together, their writing focuses on the beauty, as well as the transformative nature of the queer and AFAB (assigned female at birth) experience. They have been involved in theatre throughout their degree, performing in Katie Clarke’s Will You Taste Our Blood in 2020 as part of the King’s Theatre Society, and stage-managing Trisha Dhar Malik’s play Water, Baby! at OUTfest 2023. They aim to continue on with their theatre journey even more through playwriting and directing!
