BIO

Abdullah Omar Saif is currently pursuing his PhD. in the field of Narrative Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at MUN. An arts enthusiast and avid reader, Abdullah explores personal stories of patients living in St. John’s or in the Avalon Peninsula. He holds two master's degrees, one in Community Health and the other in Public Affairs and Policies. He has an undergraduate degree in Applied Statistics. He previously worked as a statistician for a couple of years. He has published five journal articles as both author and co-author. Abdullah is the recipient of several scholarships from MUN such as the Dean’s Fellowship Award (2021), and the Dean’s Doctoral Award (2020). He has lived in St. John’s for 7 years.
