I am a retired Registered Midwife and moved to NS 5 yrs ago. I have chronicled over 1500 of my births and chose 21 of the most profound, challenging and poignant birthing experiences I had, as a midwife, to base a play on. I worked in Detroit Michigan And Ontario and cared for women and men from a very broad spectrum of cultures, religions, societies and belief perspectives. I volunteer as a book club facilitator at the Truro Institute for Women as well as the Elizabeth Fry Association
