I’m drawn to rule breakers. Especially women rule breakers. If there’s a bad girl in the room, I invite her to sit next to me. They always have such great stories. And now, I’m telling them… --------------- Michele Clarke’s plays explore the shared human condition, frequently focusing on women who break the rules. Most recently produced by TPG’s Faces of America Festival in Manhattan (November 2024), her work in development can been seen in showcases at Cape Cod Repertory Theatre Company (CapeRep), Cape Cod Theatre Company (CCTC), and The Theater at The 204. Michele’s directorial work includes the Provincetown Theatre Playwrights Lab’s Spring/Fall (Candace Perry’s THE TOUR) and 24-Hour Theater Festivals (A SHORT DRIVE TO PROVINCETOWN), as well as the Provincetown Library Summer Series (A SUPER REUNION). Michele co-founded the Playwrights ETC playwrights’ lab for Eventide Theatre Company (Dennis, Mass.) in 2021 and The Playwrights at Sisson Road (Harwich, Mass.) in 2023. Since 2025, she divides her time between Nova Scotia and Cape Cod.
