Colleen MacIsaac

Colleen MacIsaac (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist, playwright, and artistic producer of The Villains Theatre, living and working in Kjipuktuk/Halifax on unceded Mi'kmaq territory. The winner of the Halifax Mayor's Award for Emerging Theatre Artist and the Bhayana Invisible Champion award, they have worked as a ttransdisciplinary artist with companies such as Zuppa, xosecret, 2b, Onelight, Matchstick, Lions Den, Eastern Front, the River Clyde Pageant, Unnatural Disaster, Lunasea, and Homefirst. Some of their theatrical creations include 'Shortcuts', 'TO: THE UNKNOWN', 'the effects were cumulative and i almost didn't notice', 'Mercury', 'dark matter', and 'The Blazing World'. Their most recent works are the short piece 'The Object at Trash Beach' and the full-length play 'A Beginner's Guide to the Night Sky'. Colleen is a recent graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program at NSCAD University.
