Susan Higgs

I am an active member of the Eastern Shore Players who have now performed 13 of my plays at Memory Lane Heritage Village on the Eastern Shore. I've also had 7 short, 10 minute plays, performed at the annual King's Shorts Festivals at the King's Theatre, Annapolis Royal. One of my plays, The Crystal Ball, was one of four finalists in the WFNS 2012 Playwriting Competition and another, A Twisted Tale, won the People's Choice Award in 2011 at the King's Shorts. I also have a book under my belt which was one of four titles shortlisted for the 35th Atlantic Writing Competition in the Young Adult Novel category under the title, The Land of Children, which I have decided to re-write for middle grade children.
