U-Compete is an annual playwriting competition presented by Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre (PARC) open to high school and post-secondary students from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. Each provincial winner receives dramaturgical feedback on their script, a public reading with actors, in addition to the chance to be voted Overall U-Compete Winner and Audience Choice.
