Freesias in Whiskey

A man finds a strange woman in his daughter’s apartment when he comes to pick her up from university. The woman tells him she is going to commit suicide and he is forced to deal with her and his relationship with the absent daughter. Won First Prize, Theatre Prince Edward Island’s 1995 Playwriting Competition, One- Act Play Category. Based on my short story “A Handsome Leading Man.”
